BRANCH PLACE – REGENT'S CANAL; LONDON

The plot at Branch Place used to serve as an industrial site with building materials yard, yet when a request for new planning permeation presented it should have included area for work use for equal or more number of workers.

Working at that time for RPA architects the complexity of the design was a challenge to solve. The council local policy required, for that level of permeation, some affordable dwellings on top of the work area requirment. The result is a complex building with nursery on ground floor, one level (right side entrance door) of affordable flats and three floors (middle entrance) of luxury flats. All in one of the best locations near Shoreditch Park and on the bank of Regent's Canal
